\"\"<\/a>The 2027 Syllabus is now published!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The syllabus is much as it was last year – though there <\/i>are<\/strong><\/em> changes!\u00a0 Look out particularly for the junior vocal classes – and some recorder ones too.\u00a0 You can download versions to print out.\u00a0 If that is difficult, contact us<\/a> to see if we can provide a solution for you.<\/i><\/p>\n

As we did last year, we will be publishing a tentative timetable for the week, though that’s not quite ready yet.\u00a0\u00a0It is impossible to produce a definitive programme until all of the entries are in, but we will work out roughly when different classes might take place.\u00a0 While we can make no promises, we’ll make an educated guess…\u00a0 For the time being, old-timers can have a good guess that the timetable will be as similar to last year’s one as possible.<\/p>\n

It is possible that timetabling constraints will mean we have to use the previous weekend (6th\/7th March) but we are not planning on this at the moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

We use Play and Perform for our booking system and you can access the online syllabus here<\/a> once it is published.\u00a0 This version will reflect all of the most recent changes.\u00a0 There is a copy on our own website here<\/a>, but it doesn’t necessarily get updated if the main booking one does need to be altered<\/p>\n

To enter any class visit playandperform.co.uk\/skipton<\/a> when entries open in November.
\nIf you have not already done so, you will need to register – but it’s not difficult!\u00a0 For some help, see “How to enter online<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

A note about deadlines<\/h3>\n

In the past, we’ve tried to be flexible with deadlines but that’s no longer possible.<\/p>\n

Once this year’s cut-off is reached (25th January at 10:00pm), we need first to compile the programme and then notify everyone of their performance time and date.
\nWe hold no data to contact performers directly so this must be done via whoever made the entry (normally your teacher).<\/em><\/p>\n

Once you have that information, each performer who will be missing school time must obtain leave of absence and then confirm that this permission has been granted.<\/em><\/strong> Until we have that confirmation, we cannot allow a child to perform.<\/p>\n

All of this takes time – and we have an unmissable deadline to certify to the local authority that this has been done.\u00a0 The timing is tight – so no late entries, I am afraid!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
