Remember that he (or his secretary) will be dealing with a lot of messages and yours will get more attention if it is clearly written by you and not simply copied from elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Your MP&#8217;s contact details are at <a href=\"https:\/\/members.parliament.uk\/members\/commons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/members.parliament.uk\/members\/commons<\/a><br \/>\nType your own postcode in the box to access the appropriate details.<br \/>\nAll MPs have an email address in the format<br \/>\n[firstname].[lastname].mp@parliament.uk<\/p>\n<p><strong>Begin<\/strong> your letter:\u00a0 &#8220;Dear Mr Smith&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep it simple<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen writing to or emailing your MP, it\u2019s best to be as brief, succinct and clear as<br \/>\npossible. Start with an introduction outlining why you are writing and what you want the MP to do.
