{"id":887,"date":"2026-07-31T10:05:54","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T09:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/skiptonmusicfestival.co.uk\/?p=887"},"modified":"2026-07-31T10:59:42","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T09:59:42","slug":"getting-ready-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skiptonmusicfestival.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/07\/31\/getting-ready-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting ready&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>March 2027 seems a long time away &#8211; but preparations for the 2027 Festival are already on the rails.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Most of the Syllabus is ready &#8211; we&#8217;re putting the finishing touches to the Junior vocal classes.\u00a0 This will all be finalised and published in early September.<\/li>\n<li>The adjudicator and accompanist are both booked.\u00a0 Tim Kennedy will be making a welcome return to the keyboard and Liz Childs will be adjudicating.<\/li>\n<li>Christ Church is booked from <strong>6th &#8211; 13th March 2027<\/strong>.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve never (yet) used the Sunday (7th) and we do our best to avoid the first Saturday.\u00a0 That depends on the entries &#8211; if there are a lot, then we may need to spread classes into that day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What are you going to sing or play?\u00a0 We can fit most performances in somewhere!<br \/>\nGet rehearsing!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 2027 seems a long time away &#8211; but preparations for the 2027 Festival are already on the rails.
