Leave of absence

If you (the performer) are still at school,
you MUST read – and respond – to this page.
Don’t complete the form, though, till you have
both your timetable and your school’s permission.

This form needs to be completed by all performers who are at school – but it does NOT apply to members of choirs, ensembles or orchestras and who are not named in the entry form.  (They attend, either as part of a school visit or are not absent from school.)
All forms must be submitted BEFORE Monday 16th February.

    If a performer is not at school, this permission is not required and you can ignore this form.




    If the performer is at school and your timetable shows that they will miss any school time for any of the classes for which they are entered, permission of absence must be sought from the school and confirmed here.
    If the performer is at school and your timetable shows that they will miss no school time for any of the classes for which they are entered, permission of absence is not needed but you must still confirm this here. (Be careful; check the times of all your classes.)

    WITHOUT CONFIRMATION THAT THE RELEVANT PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED, THAT CHILD WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE FESTIVAL
    I confirm that any necessary permission for absence has been granted by my child's school.

    Performer’s name, the school attended  and the classes entered.
    A statement that leave of absence has been obtained (or is not required)
    The name and contact address of the responsible parent or guardian.
