Booking for the 2027 Festival
You must enter the Skipton Music Festival online!
Last year, we received no entries on paper, so this year we are not publishing a paper entry form. (All “paper” copies have to be typed in by someone. If you don’t do it, then this is an extra task for the hardworking administrators!) If you need to contact us about this, then do so well before the deadline!
Help!
Once a performer’s details are entered, they will be kept on your account for another year. There is a page here which will gather together some of the help that we’ve given individuals. It will never develop into a full manual – but may begin to answer some of your more frequently asked questions.
To book:
First – read the Syllabus carefully. Read not only the requirements for the class(es) you wish to enter but also the rules of the Festival that are an integral part of the Festival.
Second – Use the online system at Play and Perform to make your entries
(This will not accept entries until 3rd November)
There is a page of instructions here which should help you to navigate through the system. When you have entered all your performers, don’t forget to complete it! Click on the basket at the top and select “Submit”.
Third – Make your payment.
We would far prefer you to pay online by BACS. Paying this way means there is no cost involved. If you are booking online, the system is fairly well automated.
- Account Name: Skipton Music Festival Association
- Sort code: 20-78-42 Account no: 90366595
- When you send a payment you MUST include the reference, otherwise we can’t link a bank entry with your application.
- The Reference should be the one given to you when you clicked “pay”. It is a 6-digit number, beginning with SP: SP000111 – or the like.
- You must also send an email to admin@skiptonmusicfestival.co.uk to tell us you’ve paid.
- If you need to pay by cheque, make it out to
“Skipton Music Festival” and send it to:
Jill Wright, 15 Walker Close, Glusburn, Keighley, Yorkshire BD20 8PW
Fourth – Make sure that you send any music in good time. If you are using the Official Accompanist, you must provide the music for any Own Choice performance.
Until your music is received, your application will be invalid.
You will not be entered into the Festival and your fee will not be returned.
Please see also the note about Solo Recitals.
