We’re 105 years old!

The main Festival will run from Monday 8th to Saturday 13th March 2027.  As in previous years, if the number of entries demand it, we may extend to use the previous Saturday (6th March).  We are pleased to say that our regular “Final Saturday” concert will take place and all classes will be held in Christ Church.

We will have two adjudicators this year.  Robert Marsh will share this role with Daniel Chandler and we’re delighted to welcome back our regular accompanist Tim Kennedy, though some classes may use a different, but similarly accomplished pianist.

Booking

You are strongly encouraged to book online – and you can pay online too.   When you come to Christ Church in March, we’ll also have a card reader available for all of our Front of House transactions.  This year, we are hoping to minimise cash transactions – so please bring your card (or mobile app) with you!

The syllabus for this year will be published as soon as it is finalised.  This will be as early as we can manage – and we’ll certainly be hoping to publish it in time for the beginning of the new school year in September.

The online booking scheme is unchanged from the 2026 one (though I gather some improvements are planned!)  The system will accept entries from early November but you can make sure that your own registration is up to date and you can add the details for all of your performers.   Visit our Bookings page at playandperform.co.uk/skipton where you can register yourself and have a look around.
